Just Let The Sun - Number 9 in Italian Singles Chart

Skin has successfully entered the Italian top 10 with her new single, 'Just Let The Sun'. Elsewhhere in Europe, the single failed to make an impresion. It never reached the top 100 in the Official UK Singles Chart after poor circulation in highstreet music shops. The single was also a rarity elsewhere in Europe, too.

The single did, on the other hand, enter the UK Indie Charts at number 27.

  • Pretty cool that she landed in the #9 spot, Shame she never got into the top 100 in the UK, which i will put down to Poor Marketing/Promotion

  • Yeah, it's really poor marekting, really.

    Apparently the single never made the top 250 in the midweeks, which is really odd!!

  • Hmm, to make it into the top 250, given that you can make it to number one with only a couple of thousand sales these days, surely would only take 100-200 sales. If Skin didn't get that, bodes pretty badly for the album!

  • There was probably 100 people on Skin's official forums who bought the single, then the people who downloaded it etc... so it should have entered.

    I think there must have been some kind of problem with it registering as a sale.

    Lets just hope that this time next week we won't be having the same conversation about the album, althugh with almost no promotion from V2 for Fake Chemical State, I don't see it doing well.
